About Cheshire Railway

Cheshire Railways is an idea created by Andy Higgins, Derek Moss and Mike Bains. Three railways are currently in 7¼" (18.4cm) gauge and we thought of ways to amalgamate our efforts to make the swapping of Locomotives and rolling stock seamless.

From this Cheshire railways was registered to Vee Limited.

Each founding member brings different skills to the railway team,  from Engineering to Health and Safety to the Management and Promotion of Miniature Railways.

We also plan in 2010 to provide railways with a place to buy narrow gauge railway products, Criminal Records Bureau checks, an opportuinity for other Cheshire miniature railway to list their sites, and also a place to provide advice.
